The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a California Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
