Retatrutide is an experimental injectable created by American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly. The drug affects three gut hormones – GLP-1, glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide and pancreatic hormone. Early trials indicate it could assist patients reduce up to a quarter of their body weight. Referred to as the “triple G”, the substance is being promoted digitally as the successor to Ozempic.
