I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
