Ex- Physician Accused of Assault Allegations Against 38 Patients
Legal authorities report that a ex- physician stands accused of committing assaults against thirty-eight victims who were patients.
The Serious Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of sexual offences – including some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
A senior CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Investigation
These allegations come after what police called a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on 20 January.

Prosecutors outline the forty-five charges include:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
